Nature's Inspiration

Here at AquaBeedl, we believe that nature is often the best engineer...

In the heart of Namib Desert, dwells an extraordinary creature...

The Onymacris Unguicularis collects water by angling its bumpy back into the morning fog, allowing water droplets to condense on it's ridged elytra (hardened forewings) to ultimately roll down it's mouth so the beetle can drink. This allows the beetle to survive in it's harsh and dry desert environment.
